700 asylum seekers were relocated from Nkamira Transit Site to Mahama refugee camp located in Kirehe District in the Eastern Province of Rwanda.
The move aims to prevent overcrowding as more people flee Eastern DRC to Rwanda. UNHCR is working with the Government of Rwanda and partners to assign shelter and distribute core-relief items.
