Rwanda Foreign Minister in New York for the 79th UN General Assembly

The Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Olivier Nduhungirehe is in New York to take part in the 79th UN General Assembly.

 As part of this year’s program, Rwanda will take part in the Summit of the Future Our Common Future – a high-level event aimed at addressing and delivering a better present and safeguarding the future.

The Summit will adopt three guiding documents: The Pact for the Future, The Global Digital Compact and The Declaration for Future Generations. 

On the sidelines of the 79th UN General Assembly, Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe met with his counterpart Ahmed Attaf, Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad. 

The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between Rwanda and Algeria. (End)
