Minister of State in charge of Regional Cooperation James Kabarebe received Ms. Kelly T. Clements, Deputy High Commissioner for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and her delegation.
The discussions between the two leaders focused on fostering the ongoing partnership between Rwanda and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
Rwanda currently accommodates over 135,000 refugees, including nearly 15,000 who have arrived since the escalation of the M23 conflict in DRC. (End)
