Minister of State in charge of Regional Cooperation James Kabarebe welcomed Mr. Patrick Youssef, Regional Director for Africa at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
They discussed deepening collaboration and partnership between Rwanda and the ICRC, as well as the current situation in Eastern DRC.
In Rwanda, the ICRC works with the Rwandan authorities in political, military, law enforcement and academic circles to promote the national development and implementation of international humanitarian law (IHL). (End)
