Rwanda’s ambassador to Egypt, CG Dan Munyuza, on Monday April 15, visited Police and Gisagara volleyball clubs which are representing Rwanda at the 45th edition of the African volleyball Clubs Championship currently underway in Cairo.
The ambassador encouraged the Rwandan teams to be courageous, committed and competitive in the tournament.
The two-week tournament started on April 12, with 14 teams from African countries.
Participating clubs are from Rwanda, Egypt, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Kenya, Morocco, Ethiopia, Algeria, Libya, Ivory Coast, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tunisia and Cameroon.
Police VC, which lost its opening match, but it bagged three points after Garde Republicaine du Congo from DRC failed to show for the game. (End)
