Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda Wang Xuekun met with Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe, the new Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda.
Ambassador Wang congratulated Olivier Nduhungirehe on his assumption of office. Ambassador Wang said : “China-Rwanda relationship has enjoyed rapid development under the guidance of President Xi Jinping and H.E. President Paul Kagame, the practical cooperation in various sectors has been fruitful. China is willing to take the Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation as an opportunity to join hands with Rwanda, deepen friendly cooperation, and better benefit the people of both sides.”
Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe said : “The achievements from bilateral cooperation are encouraging, thanks to China for the long-term contribution to Rwanda’s economic and social development.” He is willing to promote the bilateral friendly relationship to a new level. (End)
