Chinese Ambassador Wang Xuekun met with Rwandan Foreign Minister

Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda Wang Xuekun met with Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda, to discuss the preparatory work for the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe said that the Rwandan side attaches great importance to the FOCAC Beijing Summit, and is looking forward to taking the opportunity of the Summit to bring Rwanda-China bilateral relations and practical cooperation to a new level. Rwanda is willing to work with China to actively prepare for the FOCAC Summit and help ensure a successful Summit.

Amb. Wang Xuekun said that the Chinese side is willing to work with the Rwandan side with strengthened coordination, to make sound preparation for Rwanda’s participation and write a new chapter of the friendship between China and Rwanda, as well as between China and Africa.  (End)
