COP29: President Kagame met his Kazakhstan counterpart &Crown Prince of Jordan

President Kagame met with his Kazakhstan counterpartKassym-Jomart Tokayev 

President Kagame met this morning with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan on the sidelines of COP29. They discussed ways to strengthen economic cooperation in various sectors for the benefit of the people of Rwanda and Kazakhstan. 

President Kagame also met with Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Their discussion focused on the existing mutually beneficial relations between Rwanda and Jordan. 

President Kagame participated today in the opening session of the World Leaders Climate Action Summit at the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).  

This year’s theme for COP29 is “In Solidarity for A Green World,” COP29 offers a critical opportunity for the Maldives to spotlight its climate resilience initiatives and sustainable development goals. (End)
