The Moroccan medical aid intended for Malawi, within the framework of aid granted upon Very High Instructions by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to several brotherly African countries to support them in their efforts to fight the coronavirus, arrived Wednesday morning at Lilongwe International Airport.
The reception ceremony for the aid took place in the presence of Minister of Energy of Malawi Atupele Muluzi, and members of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Ulemas, section of Malawi.
This Initiative, which is part of the Kingdom’s active solidarity with brotherly African countries, includes equipment and products for protection and prevention as well as a batch of medicines.
The aid is composed of face masks, visors, hygiene caps, coats, hydroalcoholic gel, as well as packs of chloroquine and Azithromycin. This solidarity action is part of the implementation of the Initiative launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI on April 13, 2020, as a pragmatic and action-oriented approach, intended for the brotherly African countries, enabling the sharing of experiences and good practices and aiming to establish an operational framework in order to support their efforts in the various phases of the pandemic management (MAP).
