The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) in charge of Administration and Personnel, DCG Jeanne Chantal Ujeneza received officials from the Swedish Police Authority and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), at the Rwanda National Police (RNP) General Headquarters in Kacyiru.
Discussions with Ann-Charlotte Gustafsson, the head of Police Development Cooperation in the Swedish Police, Claudia Croci and Andreas Andersson both from UNITAR, focused on strengthening the existing cooperation between the three institutions in various areas of security and law enforcement, especially capacity building and sharing of best practices.
DIGP Ujeneza said that the visit cements the existing good relations between Rwanda National Police (RNP), Swedish Police Authority and UNITAR to advance productive cooperation.
On her part, Gustafsson observed that this is aimed at exploring more cooperation opportunities.
Croci from UNITAR said that the partnership is a “longstanding productive cooperation.” (End)
