Rwanda Football Federation approved the budget for fiscal year 2021 during the extraordinary general assembly held at Lemigo Hotel on January 3 2021.
The approved budget is Rwf 6,364,175,639 billion for different activities which will be carried out in 2021.
FERWAFA Secretary General and Chief Budget Manager Uwayezu François Régis says that a big portion of the money will be used in football development activities while the rest will cater for the national teams and other activities outlined in the Ferwafa Action Plan for 2021.
“The extraordinary meeting confirmed the budget which will be used this year and we expect to have better events, we really hope to have everything on a good move and we believe this is the time we will be in a better position to tick all boxes relating to organization and good governance’’ he added.
The funds will be generated from FIFA, CAF, Ministry of Sports, FERWAFA Rehabilitation Center, Sponsorship, Broadcasting, Gym to name few.
In addition to this, FERWAFA released the Audited Financial Statements, the Action Plan for the year 2021, Expected Income as well as the Approved Budget for the year 2021.
