The FIFA Women’s Coaching Course in Rwanda was successfully held from December 10-14, 2018.
According to the Rwanda Football Federation, the course was closed on Friday by FERWAFA Vice President Habyarimana Marcel.
Thirty participants drawn from first division league clubs, second division leagues and training centers based across the country attended the general coaching course held at Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) which conducted by FIFA Consultant Azzedine Chih from Algeria.
The coaches were taken through practical and technical sessions during the course of this week. These participants went through an intensive programme covering several topics including Training Preparation, Skills Training, Reading the Game and Simplifying Football.
At the end of each day of the course, the participants were given an opportunity to put what they had learnt into practice with practical sessions which were held at Amahoro Stadium.
Other than on-the-pitch training, the participants were also taught how to organise footballing events including competitions, and promoting women’s football. (End)
