Former Ethiopian Prime Minister praises Rwanda for hosting continental HQ of AeTrade Group

Earlier this morning, Hailemariam Desalegn Boshe, former Prime Minister of Ethiopia and Chairman of The African Electronic Trade Group(AeTrade Group)  together with Minister of Trade and Industry Jean Chrysostome Ngabitsinze, Minister of ICT and Innovation Paula Ingabire visited the continental Headquarters of the Africa eTrade Group.

Former Prime Minister Hailemariam praised Rwanda’s commitment to host the continental Headquarters of AeTrade Group and highlighted its vision to solve issues obstructing cross border e-commerce, mainly logistics and instant payment solutions at continental level among others. 

The African Electronic Trade Group (AeTrade) is a multi-stakeholder group of African professionals and business people with a vision to develop and implement an e-empowerment program that will enhance intra-and inter-African trade. 

The group brings together public and private sector partners to develop projects that leverage the power of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for the benefit of Africa’s present and future entrepreneurs. (End)
