The Indian Government welcomed on Thursday, 15 October, 2020, Morocco’s efforts to strengthen dialogue between the various Libyan parties to reach a political solution to the conflict in this country.
“We have closely followed the developments in Libya and noted the progress made within the framework of the inter-Libyan dialogue, facilitated by Morocco and under the UN auspices,” said spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Anurag Srivastava, at the weekly press briefing.
“We welcome these international efforts which aim to achieve a political solution to the conflict through an inter-Libyan dialogue, taking into account the legitimate aspirations of the Libyan people and the preservation of Libya’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity”, sources from the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed.
