On the occasion of celebrating the 28th anniversary of Rwanda’s Liberation, the Embassy of the State of Israel in Rwanda wishes all Rwandans a happy and joyful Liberation Day.
“In just 28 years after one of the world’s tragic events– the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi – Rwanda serves as a model of what a transformed country looks like. We salute the selflessness, resilience, commitment and unity of Rwandans, and the good leadership of this country that made this remarkable transformation possible”, says Dr. Ron Adam, Ambassador of Israel in Rwanda.
“The Embassy of Israel stands with Rwanda on the journey towards self-reliance, sustainable development, peace and security”, adds Ambassador Ron Adam in his message.
Rwanda marks the 28th anniversary of Liberation. Liberation Day is held every year on 4 July, marking the day the RPA, troops of the Rwandan Patriotic Front, put an end to the Genocide against the Tutsi. (End)
