Police Volleyball Club secured a place in the finals of the Liberation Cup after eliminating the reigning champions, APR Volleyball Club in an entertaining semi-finals played on Friday, July 26, in the newly refurbished Petit Stadium.
The law enforcers won three sets to one to set the Sunday’s final encounter with the winner between Kepler and REG, who will tussle it for the final place this Saturday.
Police VC took the first set (25-23) but the defending champions won the second set by the same score. Musoni Fred’s side held the head high to secure the third and fourth sets by 25-22 and 25-19, respectively.
Police WVC will also face RRA WVC this Saturday in the semi-finals to determine who will face APR WVC on Sunday’s finals. (End)
