Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr Vincent Biruta, officially opened the first Rwanda-EU Defence and Security consultations.
A delegation from the European Commission led by Ms. Joanneke Balfoort, Director of Security and Defence Policy at European External Action Service (EEAS), is in Rwanda for the first EU-Rwanda Security and Defence Consultations.
The consultations are a part of a joint commitment to renew and enhance the peace and security cooperation between Rwanda and the European Union. (End)
