From 21-23 November 2022, the Minister of State in Charge of Primary and Secondary Education Gaspard Twagirayezu visited six schools in Gakenke , Musanze and Rubavu districts to assess the teaching and learning process as the 1st school term 2022-2023 is heading towards the end .
The schools visited are: Ecole AV Rushashi and GS Nemba I in Gakenke district; Nyakinama II and GS Kitabura with a TVET wing in Musanze district; TTC Gacuba II and Kanyundo in Rubavu district.
Minister of State Twagirayezu took the time to meet with school leaders and students at each school to hear from them and give them encouragements and recommendations.
The general message was to urge the schools to strive for quality education and maintain national values for the future of the Nation.
During his visit, Minister of State Twagirayezu was accompanied by Mr. Kavutse Vianney Augustine, the Head of the Department for Basic Education; and TVET Quality Assurance at the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) with local authorities. (End)
