Over 100 business people from Southern Province are gathered in Huye District today to learn about the benefits of the Government of Rwanda’s Manufacture and Build to Recover Program (MBRP).
Introduced in 2020, the Manufacture and Build to Recover Program aims at attracting private sector investments with specific incentives for the manufacturing, agriculture, construction and real estate development sectors.
“This event is a good platform for the private sector to share knowledge on how to take advantage of the Manufacture and Build to Recover Program to grow businesses and the economy, ” said Huye District Mayor, Sebutege Ange, noted in his opening remarks.
The RDB Acting Chief Investment Officer, Philip Lucky, noted that the incentives offered under MBRP are very unique and extensive and will contribute significantly towards scaling investment projects and starting new business ventures. (End)
