Over 160 Police officers return home from UN mission in the Central African Republic

Rwanda National Police welcomed 161 Police officers who returned home after completing a one-year UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic. 

The contingent commanded by SP Carine Mukeshimana landed at Kigali International Airport at 5:00 PM. They were replaced by another contingent commanded by SSP Thomas Kayonga, who departed early in the morning for a one-year tour of duty.    

On behalf of the Rwanda Police leadership, CP Yahaya Kamunuga appreciated members of the contingent for fulfilling their duties well. (End)
