The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received, on Saturday 8th February 2020, in Amman, Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, who conveyed to him a verbal Message from HM King Mohammed VI.
“I was honored to be received in audience by the Palestinian President to whom I transmitted a verbal Message from His Majesty King Mohammed VI,” Bourita told to MAP after the meeting, stressing that this message is part of the ongoing consultations between the two Heads of State, concerning the Palestinian question in the light of the latest developments.
This audience was also the occasion to reaffirm the constant positions of the Kingdom of Morocco, as they have been expressed recently, and to coordinate the steps and the future actions.
The audience took place in the presence of Morocco’s Ambassador to Jordan, Khalid Naciri, director of the Representative Office of the Kingdom of Morocco in Ramallah, Ambassador Mohamed Hamzaoui, Palestinian Ambassador to Jordan, Majdi Al Khalidi, and secretary general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Saeb Erekat.
