Police Volleyball Club has stormed the last 16 of the ongoing African Volleyball Clubs Championship in Cairo, Egypt after overcoming Green Buffaloes VC of Zambia in three straight sets on Thursday, April 18.
The Rwanda National Police (RNP) side won 25-17, 25-18, 25-11 to register their third win in four games, enough to ease through to 1/8.
Police VC coach, Fred Musoni thanked his players for the winning spirit adding that the task is to prepare the team for their next opponent.
“It is our first time in this highly competitive African tournament but we are here to give our all in every game, because our focus is on winning the trophy,” said Musoni.
The 45th edition of the African club championship will come to a climax on April 24. (End)
