On the sidelines of the 4th Conference on the Small Island Developing States, Rwanda’s Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente held a meeting with Hilda Heine, the President of the Marshall Islands.
Discussions between Dr. Edouard Ngirente and President Hilda Heine focused on strengthening the bilateral relations between Rwanda and Marshall Islands.
The fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) is taking place from 27 to 30 May 2024 in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, under the overarching theme of “Charting the course toward resilient prosperity.”
The Conference seeks to assess the ability of SIDS to achieve sustainable development, including the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. It will result in an intergovernmental agreed, focused, forward-looking, and action-oriented political outcome document.
