Today in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente attended the Economic Development Assembly, organized by Global Citizen and Bridgewater Associates in partnership with the Government of Côte d’Ivoire.
The Economic Development Assembly in Abidjan, presented by Global Citizen and Bridgewater Associates, is a two-day event that brings together Heads of State, public and private sector leaders, and the civil society to drive financial investments to end extreme poverty across the African continent.
The Economic Development Assembly will make a compelling investment case for the G20 – the world’s largest economies – to increase their contributions to IDA and enable its replenishment goal of $120 billion by December 2024. (End)
