This morning at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame met with former President Bill Clinton of the United States of America, who led the Presidential Delegation designated by President Joe Biden to attend the 30th Commemoration of the Genocide Against the Tutsi.
They had candid and fruitful discussions on the country’s transformation over the last 30 years and the importance of strengthening mutually respectful bilateral relations.
They also discussed regional security issues and agreed on the need for a political solution that addresses the root causes of the conflict in Eastern DRC, which affects the whole and wider region. (End)
