Today afternoon in Dubai, Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye.
The two Heads of State discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Türkiye.
Presidents Kagame and Erdoğan are in the Middle East to attend the World Governments Summit 2024 held under the theme “Shaping Future Governments” until Feb. 14
Rwanda and Türkiye have enjoyed diplomatic relations since 18th February 1980 and opened diplomatic missions in Ankara and Kigali in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
The bilateral cooperation increased significantly in different areas including peace and security, education, civil aviation, trade and investment. (End)
