This evening, Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame met with President William Ruto of Kenya on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai, UAE.
“Kenya and Rwanda have shared values on trade and investment within East Africa and the African continent”, reacted President William Ruto after meeting his Rwandan counterpart.
Presidents Paul Kagame and William Ruto discussed investment opportunities between their countries as well as regional peace and security.
They are in the Middle East to attend the World Governments Summit 2024 held under the theme “Shaping Future Governments” until Feb. 14
Rwanda and Kenya are both full members of the East African Community. The others are Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Somalia. (End)
