President Kagame officiated the swearing-in ceremony of new government officials who were recently appointed in different positions.
The leaders who took oath today include Major General Albert Murasira, Minister in charge of Emergency Management; Jeanine Munyeshuli, Minister of State for Public Investment and Resource Mobilization in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning; and Sandrine Umutoni, Minister of State for Youth.
President Kagame thanked those who took their oath of office for accepting to continue serving the country, reminding them not to confuse personal interests with the country.
The Head of State asked the new officials to join other Rwandans in building and transforming Rwanda into a nation that is self-reliant. (End)
