Today, President Kagame received Angola’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Téte António who brought a message on bilateral and regional affairs from President João Lourenço.
Ambassador Téte António met President Kagame after the 10th Summit of the Heads of State and Government held in Kinshasa on Thursday to assess a 2013 agreement aimed at cementing peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s violence-torn east and the Great Lakes region.
Ambassador Téte António said that the “summit in Kinshasa was a turning point to join efforts & create synergies to fully implement the Framework Agreement on DRC & region by crating synergies and taking advantage of the new winds of collective engagement to end conflict & foster development”. (End)
