Today at Urugwiro Village, Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame received Dr. Jim Kim, Chancellor of the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE).
President Kagame and Dr. Jim Kim discussed on strategies to deepen cooperation on medical care and research.
UGHE is a health sciences university in Rwanda. UGHE was founded to provide the best possible healthcare to the poorest and most marginalised.
An initiative of Partners In Health, UGHE is a private, not-for-profit, accredited institution.
Catalytic partners that have helped to launch the University include: Cummings Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Government of Rwanda.
