Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame received Dr Sherine Abbas Helmy, CEO of Pharco Pharmaceuticals and his delegation.
“They explored areas of partnership within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors”, according to the Rwandan State House.
Prior to meeting President Kagame, Dr Sherine Abbas Helmy met with Rwanda Development Board (RDB) CEO Jean-Guy K. Afrika to discuss investment opportunities in Rwanda’s pharmaceutical sector.
The meeting explored opportunities to expand access to essential medicines, conduct clinical trials, and establish local manufacturing operations.
