President Kagame received letters of credence from four new envoys

Today at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame today received from four newly accredited Envoys, letters of credence to represent their countries in Rwanda.

The new Envoys are Ambassador Alexander Polyakov of Russia, High Commissioner Alison Heather Thorpe of the United Kingdom, High Commissioner Mridu Pawan Das of India, and Ambassador Mauro Massoni of Italy.

The new Envoys pledged to work towards further improving the existing good relationship between their countries and Rwanda and exploring other areas of cooperation.  

The envoys had earlier presented copies of Letters of Credence to Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Olivier Nduhungirehe in the capital Kigali. (End)
