President Kagame received Members of the German Parliament

This afternoon at Urugwiro Village, President Kagame received Members of the German Parliament, including Jens Georg Spahn, Günter Krings, and Alexander Richard Throm, along with their accompanying delegation.

Their discussion centered on current global challenges, including migration issues, and highlighted the ongoing collaboration between Rwanda and Germany.

Diplomatic relations between Rwanda and Germany were established in 1963. After the Genocide against Tutsi in 1994, Germany was among the first countries to resume development cooperation with Rwanda.

Currently, both countries maintain a permanent political dialogue through exchange of high-level visits by officials. (End)
