Rayon Sports eye Al Salam scalp in Caf Confederations Cup

Coach Djuma said before the team’s departure to South Sudan on Friday that, “My team is well prepared and I am confident that we will carry the day with a respectable scoring on Saturday. We will be aiming for a score line that will give us an edge over them ahead of the return encounter in Kigali.”

He added: “In such competitions, we have to be very cautious and avoid our opponents from scoring and also try to utilize the chances that will come your way because the elimination is decided on aggregate score line not on points.”

According to Rwanda Football Association, Rayon Sports, who won Peace Cup title last season, traveled to Juba on Friday ahead of their Saturday’s crucial match which will be played in the South Sudan capital, Juba—the return leg is scheduled for a week later in Kigali.
