Kigali: To celebrate the 15th Kwita Izina gorilla naming ceremony, RDB (Rwanda Development Board) is giving 100 people the opportunity to attend the upcoming Kwita Izina Concert Neyo and Meddy at the stunning Kigali Arena. This giveaway is part of the launch of the Kora online job portal.
The Kora online job portal (https://kora.rw) is designed to facilitate job seekers to find suitable employment by generating employment information, linking them with potential employers as well as offering employers with information that can enhance the efficient use of human resources in their organizations.
RDB developed Kora in collaboration with the Promotion of Economy and Employment Programme (Eco-Emploi).
Encouraging Rwandans to register in Kora, the RDB Chief Skills Officer, Elodie Rusera, said:
“Kora will digitally connect demand and supply of labor and help us combat unemployment and ensure the achievement of middle-income status as soon as possible. The role of ICT solutions in employment services is critical in attaining and connecting job seekers to employers as well as providing information to the many users within the job creation eco-system.”
On Kora, job seekers will be able to create their profiles with all required information as well as search and apply for available jobs. Organisations and companies will be able to advertise existing vacancies and read through applications conveniently.
