On an official visit to Luxembourg, the new Minister of Foreign Affairs Olivier Nduhungirehe met with Portugal’s Minister of State and Foreign Affairs Paulo Rangel.
Their discussions highlighted the growing Rwanda and Portugal bilateral relations and the promising avenues for future cooperation and trade.
Diplomatic relations between Portugal and Rwanda were set forth on the 12th of February of 1976.
Ambassador António Baptista Martins was the first Ambassador to present credentials as non-resident in Rwanda as Ambassador Resident in Kinshasa, on the 25th of January 1977. (End)
