
Minister of Foreign Affairs Olivier Nduhungirehe engaged in a constructive telephone conversation with José Manuel Albares, Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain.
The two Ministers discussed ways to advance Rwanda and Spain bilateral cooperation and shared perspectives on the situation in the Eastern DRC.
Relations between Spain and Rwanda are governed by the General Cooperation Agreement of February 27, 1989. Rwanda does not have an embassy in Spain, however its embassy in Paris, France, is accredited to Spain.
The Kingdom of Spain does not have an embassy in Rwanda, however its embassy in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is accredited to Rwanda and maintains an honorary consulate in Kigali. (End)
