The Ministry of Education hosted a Multi-Stakeholder Forum of the EU-funded ANSWER Project, a platform dedicated to fostering inclusivity in higher education. The forum brought together key stakeholders, including policymakers, educators, and organizations supporting learners with disabilities, to discuss strategies for creating a more accessible academic environment.
In a keynote address, Emmanuel BUTERA, who represented the ministry, reminded Rwanda’s commitment that made it a fundamental right of every student to quality education, regardless of their background or abilities.
He reaffirmed Rwanda’s commitment to ensuring higher education institutions adopt inclusive policies and practices.
The ANSWER Project plays a crucial role in this mission, aiming to enhance accessibility and equal opportunities for all learners, ultimately shaping a more inclusive and equitable education system in Rwanda. (End)
