Mr. Wang Xuekun, Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Infrastructure of Rwanda, Hon. Ernest NSABIMANA.
Ambassador Wang warmly welcomes the Minister’s upcoming visit to China to attend the Third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE), scheduled to be held in Changsha, Hunan Province, from June 29th to July 2nd this year. He wished the Minister a fruitful visit at the expo. Ambassador Wang briefed the Minister on the bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of infrastructure, and assured him of enhanced communication and coordination between the two sides to ensure the timely completion of relevant projects for the benefit of the two countries. China is willing to actively strengthen practical cooperation with Rwanda in various fields, continuing to provide assistance and support to promote new progress in bilateral relations.
Minister Nsabimana expressed that Rwanda and China share a long-standing friendship, and over the years, fruitful results have been achieved through practical cooperation. Rwanda has a long-term vision for development and is committed to promoting infrastructure construction to drive economic and social progress. In the future, Rwanda is willing to work hand in hand with China to deepen practical cooperation in various areas for the mutual benefit of both peoples.
The two sides also exchanged views on matters of common concern. (End)
