Rwanda to host World Telecommunication Conference

From 6 to 16 June 2022, Rwanda will host the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC).

Themed “Connecting the unconnected to achieve sustainable development”, WTDC will be the first to be held in Africa. It will be organized by the International Telecommunication Union, through its Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT).

WTDC is scheduled to take place from 6 to 16 June 2022 and will attract approximately 1.300 participants including Member States, ITU-D Sector Members, Academia and United Nations agencies.

WTDC is a unique opportunity to develop innovative approaches and new models of collaboration for connectivity and digital solutions in this final Decade of Action to achieve the SDGs. (End)
