Rwanda Defence Force Chief of Defence Staff, General Mubarakh Mubarakh, is on a working visit to Bangladesh from 12-15 June 2024 on the invitation from the Chief of Staff of the Bangladesh Army.
“The purpose of the visit is to strengthen the cooperation between the two armed forces”, according to the Rwandan Ministry of Defense.
Rwanda and Bangladesh have enjoyed good diplomatic relations since 2012. Both countries are among the biggest troop contributors to the United Nations peacekeeping missions. (End)
