
RDF Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General MK Mubarakh, presided over the pass out ceremony of the middle-level commanders and staff seminar at the RDF Gacurabwenge Training Centre in Kamonyi District, marking the successful completion of training for senior and junior officers.
In his remarks, General Mubarakh emphasized the importance of strengthening the RDF’s capacity to effectively respond to emerging threats. “RDF must build its capacity to consistently and effectively address any threat. This focus is on maintaining a well-trained defence force under capable leadership and enhancing civil-military relations,” he stated.
Brigadier General Jean Chrysostome Ngendahimana, Deputy Commandant of the RDF Command and Staff College, commended the RDF’s continuous efforts to enhance operational readiness and uphold discipline among its members.
Since its inauguration in November 2020, the RDF Gacurabwenge Training Centre has played a crucial role in conducting middle-level commanders and staff seminars, equipping officers with essential military skills. (End).
