Kigali: During the opening ceremony of Poultry Africa 2019 Conference, as organiser, Ton Otten, Director of VIV WOLRDWIDE, has delivered a message, informing that 128 Exhibitors are participating in Poultry Africa Expo 2019. Read below his speech:
On behalf of the organiser, VNU Exhibitions and the VIV partners, I am delighted to welcome all of you during the opening ceremony of the 2th of Poultry Africa at the Convention Centre of Rwanda’s highly attractive capital city, Kigali.
The second edition of Poultry Africa Expo is going to present 128 exhibiting companies from 29 countries at KCC. The Leadership Conference by VIV and partners united directors in African poultry, setting goals for the future development of this valuable sector.
Visitors to the debut edition of Poultry Africa have recognised its high value to the leaders of Africa’s poultry businesses. For visitors and exhibitors alike, it proved to be a happy and dynamic fusion of commercial contacts and knowledge transfer within an extremely valuable platform in terms of the quality of companies and individuals present.
The premium trade fair of Poultry Africa, in 2017, attracted already 75 exhibiting companies. This second edition the number of exhibitors has growth with 70% and this proves that the Sub-Saharan region is an attractive market for the companies with equipment, feeds and services for poultry production and processing market.
Without the considerable support from the departments and agencies of the Rwandan government, the associations and our local partner, this wouldn’t have been possible. Together we were able to position Poultry Africa as the most complete exhibition for Africa. Providing a valuable and business-driven environment where African and global players have shared knowledge, strengthened regional partnerships and initiated promising business relations.
Dear guests I wish you, our exhibitors and the poultry professionals from Rwanda, East, West and North Africa all a successful exhibition. Thank you!
