President Kagame met with Patrick Pouyanné, the CEO of TotalEnergies, who is in Rwanda for the 2024 Africa CEO Forum.
“TotalEnergies and Rwanda collaborate in a variety of sectors including energy, e-mobility and education” says the Rwandan State House via X.
In January 2022, TotalEnergies and Rwanda signed a MoU to develop collaboration on projects related to energies.
TotalEnergies also announced the incorporation of a local branch TotalEnergies Marketing Rwanda Ltd, and the opening of a permanent representation office in Kigali.
