UNDP Resident Representative presents credentials to Rwanda

The recently-appointed UNDP Resident Representative for Rwanda, Ms. Fatmata Lovetta Sesay, presented today his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vincent Biruta.   

Minister Vincent Biruta and Ms. Fatmata Lovetta Sesay discussed further strengthening the ongoing strong partnership between Rwanda and UNDP(United Nations Development Programme).  

The UNDP in Rwanda focuses on empowering Rwandans for a resilient future through efforts to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities, and protect the environment.  

Fatmata holds a PhD in Development Economics (Ludwig Maximillian University, University of Munich, Germany), an MSC in Law and Economics (Utrecht University, the Netherlands) and a BSC degree in Education and Economics (University of Sierra Leone). (End)
