The new Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Yusuf Murangwa hosted a courtesy visit from Fatmata Lovetta Sesay, the UNDP Rwanda Resident Representative.
“Discussions centered on strengthening partnerships across a range of areas such as economic and social cooperation, climate change initiatives, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) implementation and more.”, according to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations members in 2015, created 17 world Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They were created with the aim of peace and prosperity for people and the planet while tackling climate change and working to preserve oceans and forests. (End)
