Kigali: The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Deputy Administrator Bonnie Glick is expected to join Rwandans in the 25th Commemoration of genocide against Tutsis on 7 April.
Bonnie Glick will travel to Kenya, Rwanda, and Ethiopia April 2-13. In Rwanda, she will attend Kwibuka25 activities on behalf of the U.S. government to demonstrate the solidarity with the people of Rwanda.
In Kenya, the Deputy Administrator will meet with implementing partners and government representatives, and will visit USAID project sites on health, economic growth, and agriculture.
In Ethiopia, the Deputy Administrator will meet with government officials, visit USAID relief and development assistance sites, and engage with U.S. government staff. (End)
