Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Mr Gordan Grlić-Radman said his country welcomes “Morocco’s commitment to the cease-fire as well as to freedom of civil and commercial movement through the passage of El Guergarat”.
The Croatian Foreign Minister, who expressed this position during his participation Thursday in the EU-Southern Neighbourhood Ministerial Meeting, also called for the relaunch of the political process under the aegis of the United Nations, said a statement from the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
The Croatian official also stressed the “paramount importance” of the political stability of the southern partners of the European Union (EU), saying that it is “important for the EU to engage with its partners in the region a stronger and more structured cooperation in order to promote security, sustainable economic growth and regional integration, in addition to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic”.
