Only RPF can deliver development – Kagame (Exclusive photos)

The day began in Nkumba, in Burera district. Arriving to the cheers of a massive crowd gathered at the shore of Lake Burera, Kagame walked amidst supporters, danced to his iconic anthem, “Tora Tora Kagame,” then took to the podium.

“The solution is to vote for your RPF candidate if you want to maintain your achievements,” he told them.

Increased security, good governance and gender equity were all highlighted as achievements. The environment was an especially important topic in Kagame’s Nkumba speech, pointing out the restoration of previously-deteriorating lakes.

The afternoon saw Kagame in Busogo, Musanze District, where infrastructure and development were the central themes.

“Some people say anyone can bring development,” said Kagame. “Some political opposition figures say that it is not hard to bring development, but if so, why wasn’t there any development here before RPF took power?”

“The future will see more beautiful things, I have more to give to the Rwandan people in the future.”
