The Commissioner General of RCS, CGP Evariste Murenzi together with his delegation, are in Antwerp , Belgium where he is attending the 25th International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA) Annual general meeting (AGM) and Conference from 22-27 October 2023.
The theme of the conference is “Humane Corrections: What more can we do”. This theme reflects the need for a more compassionate and humane approach to corrections, as well as the need to identify new and innovative ways to improve the current system. The conference will bring together experts from all over the world to discuss the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in the field of corrections.
This conference is suitable for a wide range of professionals, including heads of service, policy-makers, researchers, corrections practitioners, academics, lawyers, and other stakeholders involved in the field of corrections.
